Within Dyson’s NPD team, led the development of a next-generation cooling fan and compressor to succeed the AM07, engineered to meet upcoming acoustic legislation.

The design focused on advanced noise reduction technologies, including serrated impeller blades, tuned resonance cavities, and optimised inlet and outlet geometries. The compressor was platformed for use across multiple products, requiring robust performance across a range of operating conditions—adding complexity to the engineering challenge.
